| Fix and boost your computer speed. NetScream is a tool that is supposed to make your Internet connection faster. It does several registry tweaks and it modifies several configuration files in order to achieve this. All you need to do is select your operating system and the type of Internet connection that you have. |

I tested this program on my computer, but I couldn’t find any visible improvement in my connection speed. I was always able to download data from the Internet at the speed specified by my ISP. The publisher states that the optimization only works in 80% of the cases. I guess I was in the 20% that remain.
When I clicked the “GO” button in order to optimize my connection, the program asked me to restart my computer. In fact, each time I tried to optimize my connection the program asked me for a restart. You don’t have to run NetScream more than once. I just did this to test the program.

Pluses: If you are an advanced user and you are curious to see what settings NetScream modifies on your system, you can look into the “How It Works” section of the help file.
Drawbacks / flaws: I think that the program shouldn’t ask for a restart the second time it’s run.
In conclusion: Depending on a lot of variables, NetScream may or may not increase your connection speed. The only way to know for sure is to test it yourself.
